We’ve been around for over 140 years and plan on being around for plenty more – we’re not perfect but we’re out to play our part so the next generation of Aussies can enjoy the good life just as we have. Here are a few ways we’re giving a XXXX to tread more lightly.
Queensland has some of the most beautiful flora, fauna and natural landscapes in the world. From the Great Barrier Reef to Cobbold Gorge – we’re doing our part to help protect it for ourselves, and future generations to come.
From April 4 until April 26, for every XXXX Gold schooner sold at specific ALH venues across Queensland, 50 cents will be donated to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. The initiative is in response to bleaching unfolding across the Great Barrier Reef from the impacts of climate change and rise in sea surface temperatures, heightened by last year’s El Nino conditions in the Pacific Ocean. The funds will be used to plant much needed coral on the reef and support the Foundations coral IVF efforts.
To protect the good life in the great outdoors, from river to reef and everything in between, we’ve committed to protecting the health of our waterways.
To minimise the impacts of climate change on the good life as we know and love it, we all have a role to play collectively to reduce our footprint – here’s the steps we’re taking.
We’re on a mission to use less and use better – from producing to packaging XXXX, reducing our impact where we can.
